Congratulations NC HOSA District 5 for your participation in the 2010 HOSA National Leadership Conference. We had competitors in our district to place at the National Leadership conference and I would like to recognize these competitors who did an excellent job in not only representing our district, but also our great state of North Carolina.
Congratulations Lauren Mallory from Ledford for placing 8th place in Extemporaneous Writing, the ladies of East Forsyth( Dallas Faison, Brooke Padian, Claire Rakes, and Breanna Younger) for placing 10th place in Public Health Emergency Preparedness, and Terrance Shelton from Forsyth County Career Center for placing 7th place in Job Seeking Skills.
Also, congratulations to both East Forsyth High School and Forsyth County Career Center for their Chapter Newsletters. Congratulations to Ledford High School for Outstanding HOSA Chapter.
And last, but not least, I would like to thank the Advisors for making this possible for all of the HOSA students who were in attendance at the NLC. Now that the National Conference is over, it’s time to start preparing for upcoming district competitions. Please choose an event that you know you will have fun doing and one that will challenge you.
