2008 - 09 North Carolina HOSA Executive Council

Hello everyone! We are your HOSA State Officer Team for the 2008-2009 school year! Each of us have developed personal corners for our individual offices. Our hope is that you will learn more about your state officer team as well as how to improve your leadership skills. Our corners are designed specifically for each office on all levels: chapter, region, and state. We will also provide information concerning hosting a benefit function, our national and state service projects, competitive events, starting a HOSA chapter, running for state office, increasing membership, and being apart of HOSA in college. Throughout this process, we will share insights into our HOSA career and tips on how to have a successful year in your elected position in HOSA. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to e-mail us.
Thank you for all your hard work this year!

Claire Lucas

North Carolina HOSA
State President

Hey everyone! I'm Claire Lucas your North Carolina HOSA State President. I have enjoyed the past four years I have spent as an active HOSA member. I am a senior at Mooresville High School where I represent the Northwest Region. Next year, I plan to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill or North Carolina State University where I will obtain a pre-med undergraduate egree. I hope to become a doctor and specialize in family medicine. Then, I want to open my own practice and serve the families in my city that have helped me to grow into the individual I am today. I know this year’s HOSA members will have many successes; and cannot wait to see the positive impact these successes will bring to North Carolina.
