Regional Conference

Hello all,

I need two things from HOE teachers in the Northwest Region:

1. Would you please email the event you singed up for at FLW. I have misplaced the listing. I will find it after regionals as usual. If you have no preference please let me know that too.

2. Due to things out of my control, our start time for regionals will be 10am November 10 instead of 1pm. Sign in will begin a 9:30am. This should get everyone home early. Our system decided at the last minute to make that date a parent teacher conference day and I was asked (no choice) to change our tiem or date. I chose the time to ensure everyone returned home early. Please email me and let me know of any problems.

Northwest HOSA Regionals will be November 10, 2008 at Patton High School.  Registration is from 9:30-10:00AM with the Opening Session starting promptly at 10AM.  Registration forms are due to me before October 31st by e-mail (esilvey@burke.k12.nc.us) or fax (828-433-3001).

Directions to Patton are: I 40 westbound to exit 104 Enola Road. Turn left across the bridge. Go through 2 stoplights. Patton will be on the Left approximately 1 mile off I 40. Use the bus entrance just past the church on the left. The address is 701 Enola Road for tose who use mapquest.com.

Refreshments will be available for purchase during the conference.  Hope to see everyone at regionals.
 

NW HOSA Chapter Dues Invoice is $25 annually for returning chapters. These funds are used for scholarships, Fall Leadership Workshop, and Regional Leadership Conference. If this is your chapter's first year with HOSA, your chapter is exempt. Please use this invoice. Regional Dues Form

 

Scholarships for the Northwest region have changed. There will now be one $500 and one $250 scholarship awarded at the NC-HOSA State Conference.
